Немецкий производитель, основная специализация которого оптические устройства и датчики для автоматизации, предложил новое семейство AMS 100i  из 8-ми типоразмеров лазерных дальномеров. Производитель сообщает, что для дистанций 120 метров предложенные устройства самые малогабаритные на рынке. Таким образом, миниатюризация оптических датчиков успешно продолжается и эта тенденция достигла традиционно дорогостоящий и традиционно крупногабаритный раздел дальномеров на 100 … 120 метров. Вероятно, со временем, здесь следует ожидать и заметного снижения цен.
